Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc. has established the Hearst-Argyle Employee Disaster Relief Foundation to assist its employees impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

Hearst-Argyle's principal shareholder, Hearst Corporation, will match Hearst Corporation and Hearst-Argyle employee contributions up to an aggregate maximum $500,000.

Employees are asked to note their full name and Hearst, or Hearst-Argyle, unit with any contribution.

The fund, which exclusively benefits impacted Hearst-Argyle employees, is an appropriately registered charitable foundation intended to make all contributions tax deductible. Donations are not solicited in states that require registration for solicitations until such registrations are completed.
