For generations, Hearst-Argyle stations, in keeping with our corporate values, have taken a leadership role in local community service. We believe our involvement in and commitment to the health and vitality of our communities contributes to a trusted and enduring relationship with our viewers.

Some of Our Projects:


Hearst-Argyle and its New Orleans station, WDSU-TV, created an unprecedented regional "network" to report news to viewers affected by Hurricane Katrina. Hearst-Argyle also established a relief fund for its employees who were affected, while Hearst-Argyle stations helped raise funds for relief efforts.    Learn more
